Do you have an interest in a career within the Music Industry? Join us at 'Get Ahead in Music,' a day of discussion and information on various aspects of the music industry.
Focusing on young people interested in music, the day will provide an opportunity to listen, network, and interact with musicians and industry professionals at different stages of their careers. With speakers from organizations such as BBC Introducing, York Crescent, Leeds Conservatoire, Polar Bear Music Club and more to be announced…
The forum will take place on Friday, February 2nd, from 10:30 to 15:30 in Selby College Media Recording Studio. The day will include discussion panels on topics covering opportunities to work in different parts of the music industry throughout Yorkshire, from people across the region who are building their music careers across Yorkshire. Who they’re working with and what support they are getting to succeed. Alongside this expect roundtable discussions, and the attendance of relevant industry professional organizations providing information and networking opportunities.
