Amber Strawbridge

Artist - Bored at My Grandma’s House

Bored at My Grandma's House is the moniker and solo project of 22 year old Amber Strawbridge who began the project, quite literally, bored at her grandmas. Critics have compared her to the likes of Soccer Mommy and Alvvays, thanks to the dreamy shoegaze elements of the music, which is all completely composed and written directly from Amber's bedroom. The critically acclaimed debut EP ‘Sometimes I forget You’re Human Too’ received praise from BBC Radio 1, Rough Trade, NME, BBC 6 Music and sold out pressings within the first week of release. Bored At My Grandma's House last performed on the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury 2022 and is currently spending her time completing her third year at Leeds conservatoire as well as finalising and completing her debut album. With a highly anticipated debut record on the brink of release, 2023 is anything but boring for Bored at My Grandma's House.
