In 2024 Launchpad+ distributed 296 releases from 128 artists.
We collect the publishing royalties (PRS / MCPS) for over 60 artists, comprising over 1000 songs.
We manage the neighbouring rights (PPL) for over 875 recordings and over 40 performers.
Artists supported through Launchpad+ have received:
Radio play on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 3, BBC 6 Music, Kiss FM and BBC 1xtra.
Playlist features on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon & YouTube including New Music Friday, Fresh Finds and Hot New Bands.
Live appearances at BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend, Glastonbury, Truck Festival, Live at Leeds and more.
Sync placement with Adidas TERREX, and TV placements with Love Island / ITV, BT Sport and Premier League TV.

LUCKY IRIS
Composed of songwriting/production duo Maeve and Jasper - Lucky Iris make crunchy, electronic pop which is both catchy and emotional. Their 2024 EP something to believe in, released through EMI North X Launchpad+, sparked a wave of tastemaker buzz and garnered strong support from BBC Radio 1, Radio X, and BBC Introducing - culminating in their first national TV appearance on Sky News. In 2025, they followed up with day to night, released through Launchpad+ in collaboration with Universal Music Production’s Focus label, earning acclaim from Rolling Stone UK and DIY Magazine.
‘day to night’ was featured in Rolling Stone UK’s ‘Hot New Songs’ playlist amongst household names Stormzy, CMAT, Loyle Carner & more.
The day to night EP was featured in DIY Magazine as part of the NEU Bulletin feature which showcases the best new music.
Launchpad+ is delivered by Music Local and supported by Leeds City Council as part of Innovation@Leeds and arts@leeds, part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, through Youth Music with public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England and and part of PRS Foundation's Talent Development Partnership supported by PPL.
