NYMAZ

NYMAZ is a youth music development charity which champions the transformative potential of music for children and young people in North Yorkshire and beyond. In my role as programme manager I support our delivery partners to deliver various programmes across the region including early years sessions, SEND performances and residencies, digital work and more. I also lead on Youth Voice and run our Plugged In Producers offer, which provides the opportunity for 18-25year olds to produce their own event with funding and mentoring support. Throughout the year we host Professional Opportunities and Development Sessions, which offer free training/skills workshops to 11-25 year olds on a range of topics which they are part of curating. We prioritise strong IDEA principles (inclusion, diversity, equity, access) and platform youth voice at all levels of our organisation including up to our board.
