Jamila Scott (Artist Manager - Into The Blue)
Jamila Scott has over thirteen years' experience in the music industry, having worked at Polydor, Warner Records and management companies such as Method Records.
She has signed and A&R'd a number of artists, including Lion Babe and Years & Years. Jamila now runs her own management company, Into The Blue where she manages Melle Brown, Jack Kane, Halfrhymes and Hannah Yadi.
Jamila is also a consultant for Tileyard Music working across acts such as Ella Eyre, Ross Hamilton and Oscar Bell.
Alongside her management and A&R duties Jamila has run tastemaker blog Cruel Rhythm since 2011 - the blog is credited with discovering Disclosure amongst others, and Jamila has worked with partners including Sonos and Hype Machine on events featuring artist performances early in their careers with acts like SZA, Kelis, Dua Lipa and Stormzy at SXSW, Great Escape and more.
