Westley Holdsworth
Westley is a Grants and Programmes Manager at the PRS Foundation, working across The Open Fund for Music Creators, the Open Fund for Organisations, The International Showcase Fund, and the Oram Awards. Before joining the PRS Foundation he was the International Coordinator at the New Zealand Music Commission helping to launch and grow the international careers of a diverse range of artists. He has a background in DIY and independent music as a musician in metal, noise and electronic projects and an active interest in games sound design and post-production.
Widely respected as an inclusive, collaborative and proactive funding body, PRS Foundation supports an exceptional range of new music activity through direct grants to music creators and through support for pioneering organisations, including venues, festivals, promoters and other talent development organisations. PRS Foundation leads the charge to create a stronger, fairer and inclusive music sector and is home to the Women Make Music fund, co-founders of global gender equality initiative, Keychange and most recently the POWER UP initiative to tackle anti-Black racism in music.
