Matilde Mirotti
Matilde is a songwriter and industry professional, originally from Italy and currently based in the UK.
Over the past six years, Matilde has been working as an artist and songwriter, signing a worldwide publishing deal with Faber Alt in 2020 with her alt-pop duo ‘In the Morning Lights’ and a solo artist.
After graduating from Leeds Conservatoire, Matilde kickstarted her industry career joining Leeds-based organization ‘Come Play With Me’ as their Magazine Assistant. After nine months working for the organization, she has recently become their Media and Partnership lead.
Some of her most recent projects include ‘I Know a Place’, a yearly conference focusing on women and people from marginalized communities in music and ‘Connected Sounds’, a podcast exploring the experience queer people in the industry (guests include Self Esteem, Crawlers, Shamir).
