Sunday Lendis
Born through hours of writing, recording and experimentation at Green Room Studios, Tasmanian/English vocalist Sunday Lendis is proud to present her solo project in collaboration with esteemed guitarist/producer Ed Allen (Mabgate Organ Trio). Rooted in folk, jazz, and electronica, their music offers a generous sense of humanity and reflection. Bringing together their close friends and long-term collaborators Theo Goss (Slow Loris), Joe Wilkes (Yaatri) and Eve Creighton (Awen Ensemble), they blend high-level musicianship, introspective lyricism and modern production, to tell bewitching stories of adversity and hope.
Sunday has performed extensively around the UK, including Jazz Cafe Camden, The Old Queen’s Head Islington, Green Man and Shambala Festival, Liverpool International Jazz Festival and The Brudenell Social Club; and has worked with established Northern artists including K.O.G, Tom Excell, VRAELL, B-âhwe and Yaatri. Her debut EP is set to release this Autumn.
