Jenni is a multi-skilled professional working with creatives in media, events and music.

With a background touring with well-known theatre productions and music festivals, and leading teams to make award winning media and digital content, Jenni is now based full-time in Hull and alongside her event management work, is currently developing innovative methods to elevate local events and artists to a new standard in an increasingly digital world.

A happy challenger of the status quo, one of Jenni’s aims to create safer spaces and opportunities for marginalised genders in the city, and as a result has joined Make Noise who are a group of womxn who share the same ambitions and who she is representing today.

Make Noise is a non-profit Warren Youth Project initiative and collective ran by a group of womxn, created as a response to issues the group had experienced or heard were happening in the Hull music scene pertaining to a lack of visibility for womxn in the industry, and to the harassment and assault experienced by womxn in local venues during events.

Since the beginning of Make Noise a few years back, the collective have empowered womxn and non-binary folks to learn to DJ, create zines and artwork, make their own music & events and join an open dialogue discussing womxn’s experiences with sexual harassment and assault at musical events, belittlement in entering the music industry, and the level of encouragement they feel they were given as a woman to work in the music industry or as a musician.
