Debut Ukes
A group class for those with some experience of playing and can play a C chord and an F chord.
Thursdays 5.15pm to 6pm

Suitable for 8 – 12 year olds
Cost: £5 per week, per student to join any of the ensemble classes
Debut Keys
A group class for those who have some experience of playing the keyboard/piano and reading music.
To take part in this group, children should be able to:
– read and play notes C to G with their right hand in treble clef
– read and play notes C to G their left hand in bass clef
– read and play the following rhythms: crotchets, minimums, quavers.
Saturdays 10.15am – 11am

Saturday Strings
An ensemble for more advanced young, aspiring string players who are of Grade 1 standard or above.
Saturdays 12.15pm – 1pm

Saturday Winds
An ensemble for those who are of Grade 1 upwards on brass, woodwind or percussion instruments.
Saturdays 11.45am – 12.30pm

Beginner Strings
Learn the basics of violin in a group setting. Pupils will learn how to hold a violin and play open strings with a bow. This will prepare pupils for the Debut String ensemble.

Debut Rock
An exciting ensemble for young, aspiring rock musicians to have the chance to experience either singing, playing electric guitar, bass guitar, keyboard or drums with little or no experience of playing an instrument.

Beginner Guitar Group
This group is for those who would like to learn to play the guitar in a group environment and to prepare them to play in the Debut Rock Band.

Beginner Drum Group
This group is for those who would like to learn to play the drums in a group environment and to prepare them to play in the Debut Rock Band.

Funk and Soul Band
An exciting ensemble for young aspiring band musicians who are of Grade 3 standard or above on their instrument
Saturdays 10.30am – 11.30am

Suitable for ages 11 – 19 years

Samba Band
An opportunity to experience the infectious percussive rhythms of Brazil. No previous experience required.
Mondays 6.15pm -7:00pm

Suitable for all the family aged 7 and above (including adults)

An exciting new ensemble for young, aspiring Wind and Brass musicians at the very start of their musical journey.

Valley Strings
Valley Strings offers group tuition and group ensemble playing on the violin, with the option of moving on to viola or cello.
Suitable for pupils age 7 up who can play open strings but also open to more experienced pupils.
Thursdays 5pm – 6pm
At: Riverside Junior School, Holme Street, Hebden Bridge, HX7 8EE
Cost: £5 per session billed every half term in advance. Remissions available for those eligible.
Instrument hire can be provided.
