Sophia Thevathasan

Sophia is a singer songwriter making music under the name "King Ochre". Graduating in 2021 from Leeds Arts University having studied Popular Music Performance, Sophia is now volunteering at Love Pop Choir Roundhay and at the Cloth Cat, Get Your Act Together choir.

Sophia aspires to one day start her own record label as their passions lie in finding new music and bringing it to the forefront. Struggling with her mental health and disability and identity, Sophia wants to focus on diversity and representation and hopes people will have someone that looks like them to aspire to and relate to as that's something Sophia wanted growing up.
