Heather Wood

Currently studying Music Industries Management, Heather has demonstrated her commitment to organising and managing interdisciplinary events in spaces free to the public, such as Kirkgate Market and Leeds Art Gallery, to provide accessible opportunities for those from a variety of economic backgrounds to engage with the arts.

Outside of this, Heather is passionate about researching female reproductive health and advocating against period poverty, and hopes to complete her dissertation on its relations to the music industry in 2025. From this, Heather hopes to gain knowledge needed to provide support to artists and others in the industry affected by the stigma surrounding this through her future projects.
