Julia Szulc

Julia moved from Poland to England in 2020 to pursue a course at Leeds Conservatoire in music production. However during university her interests broadened to music management. She developed a strong passion towards live events and since started working towards making it her entire life. She has worked for Music for Youth PROMS, Youth for Music as well as gained experience while working at festivals in England and Poland on variety of positions; stage assistant, runner, artist liaison, production assistant. Currently you can often find her shadowing at gigs. In the past she had a pleasure of shadowing production teams of Suede, Skindred and Focus.

Besides live events Julia is still producing local artists as well as her own music and gets involved with promotion, marketing and management.

Her future goal is to create more spaces for women in live event management and encourage them to pursue tech related jobs in the industry (as well as becoming a tour manager and continue working as a producer).
