James Smith (Vocalist - Yard Act)
James is the vocalist for Yard Act, a band from Leeds who started in January 2020.
Since then they have been playlisted repeatedly on 6music, with regular support from Radio 1.
They just won the anchor award in Hamburg presented by Tony Visconti and received 4 and 5 star reviews in The Guardian and The Times for their latest tour.
They are touring the UK, Europe and America next year in support of their debut album and also feature on the new Fifa22 soundtrack. They are now signed to Island records.
