Blur the Lines

Blur the Lines is a showcase of 20+ Rappers, Poets, Musicians & Comedians based in Yorkshire, an interdisciplinary show connecting creative scenes throughout the North. The event is curated and produced by Rap and Spoken Word Artist Lence who set out to create a platform that brings artists from different creative backgrounds into one space as well as blurring the lines between Rap and Poetry.

Blur the Lines has been on quite the journey since the very first event in 2019, with 2 sold out shows at Leeds Playhouse Theatre, 4 at Leeds Literature Festival - most recently at Hyde Park Book Club to celebrate their 5th anniversary celebration, 3 at The Holbeck venue supported by Theatre Company Slunglow, 2 supported by Leeds Inspired, 1 in association with Come Play With Me and 1 in the historic setting of Leeds Library. Blur the Lines was recently featured at the Poetry Off The Page – All Borders Blur Conference in London, an event mapping genre crossings in UK Spoken Word.
