Because of this, I knew I had to go way beyond wanting to work in the music industry and, even more so, because I saw so few women reach anywhere near the top.
In response to this, I’ve been planning to open a not-for-profit studio, which will welcome any person that is eager to learn about producing, mixing and mastering. These people will then go on to help run the sessions of the working studio.
I really wish this was a space that was around when I was starting out at 15 and I’m so grateful to have Launchpad’s support for the starting point of this project!
