Rosie Miles

Rosie Miles is a Leeds-based Indie-folk storyteller who evokes a welcome nostalgia of the 70s songwriter movement.  In early June, she released her debut EP Still Life. Written in her attic room during lockdown, the 6-track collection is a moving study of unmoving parts, documenting and lamenting her self-paralysis as a young woman as the world stood still. Reminiscent of Laura Marling, Lianne La Havas and Joni Mitchell, Rosie’s soaring melodies and poetic lyrics dance around lush guitars and jazz-inspired grooves.

Rosie has performed across the country playing sold out shows at Brudenell Social Club, Hyde Park Book Club and support slots for Rosie Frater-Taylor & LADY (Leeds). She has gained support from Launchpad, BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 6’s Tom Robinson, and was subsequently booked to open for one night on his 2022 ‘Up Close & Personal’ International Tour.
