Magick Mountain
Magick Mountain is what happens when the planets align to see seasoned session musician Lins Wilson assume her rightful place; leading this fuzzed out, proto-punk power trio, red hair flowing and guitar wailing. Having written and performed with many legendary Leeds bands (including Grammatics & Mother Vulpine), Lins is now flanked by likeminded northern noiseniks Tom Hudson (Pulled Apart By Horses) and Nestor Matthews (Sky Larkin, Menace Beach).
Magick Mountain’s incendiary tales of infinite space, otherworldly escapes and weird feelings have been burning ears and turning heads since 2016, with a series of singles heralding the coming of a blistering self-released debut album in October 2020. With colossal riffs, entwining harmonies and fistfuls of wild, distorted energy, Magick Mountain are carving out a place for themselves at the vanguard of an exciting new movement in garage-rock.
Magick Mountain have already graced Radio 1, BBC6 Music, Latitude Festival and Live at Leeds with their presence, sharing stages with the likes of Meatbodies, Stonefield, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, levitation room, Wand, Cherry Glazerr, Los Bitchos, Dream Wife, The Cribs, Thee MVPs, YOWL, Treeboy & Arc and more.
