Gayle Lofthouse (Presenter - BBC Radio Leeds)

Born in Leeds in 1976, Gayle spent her teenage years in North Yorkshire listening to the radio, pouring over Melody Maker and NME, buying way too many 12 inch records and trying to get her Dad to take her to gigs in Leeds.

She has worked in local/ regional radio for 25 years as a copywriter, occasional voiceover, sponsorship and promotions manager, producer and presenter.

BBC Radio Leeds is the place to go for all things local and has been for more than fifty years.
