Vick Bain
Vick has worked in music for twenty-five years. For six years she was CEO of the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers & Authors and is now a music industry consultant and campaigner for diversity & inclusion in the music industry. She is currently the interim Director of Strategy at Attitude is Everything, a charity focused on disabled accessibility in music. Vick is the author of Counting the Music Industry, curator of The F-List directory of female musicians and a PhD researcher at Queen Mary University looking at women’s careers in the music industry. Vick was enrolled into the Music Week Women in Music Awards Roll Of Honour 2017 and the BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour Music Industry Powerlist 2018. Vick is also a director of the board of the Incorporated Society of Musicians, a music tech start-up called Delic and is a trustee of Parents & Carers in Performing Arts (PiPA).
