Joseph 'JP' Patterson
Joseph ‘JP’ Patterson is the Founder of TRENCH Magazine, a platform dedicated to Black British music and culture, and the Editor-In-Chief of youth culture title Complex UK. Starting out as a club night promoter in 2007—working early on with the likes of Skepta, Ghetts and Flirta D—he began his journalism career the following year. JP has written cover stories on the likes of 0207 Def Jam for The Guardian, Nines for Mixmag, and Digga D for i-D, as well as penning for The Independent, British GQ, The FACE and more. He is also a member of the MOBO Awards’ committee.
