The Yorkshire Emerging Artists Showcase by Launchpad, Higher Rhythm & Long Division is part of the Long Division Festival 2023 with performances from: LADY, Green Gardens, Dilettante, Bungalow, Harri Larkin and Beth Pilling.

Long Division Festival is an award-winning metropolitan festival in Wakefield that places the best emerging grassroots artists alongside legends of Indie and DIY. Previous headliners include The Cribs, We Are Scientists, Billy Bragg, British Sea Power, The Fall, Asian Dub Foundation, Field Music, The Wedding Present, Peter Hook & The Light, Ash, and Gang Of Four.

This year will be the final year of the festival. To celebrate what has been achieved over the last 12 years, Long Division have called up some old friends and got some bands to reform. They’re bringing people to Wakefield and Long Division for the first time. Expect a wonderfully imperfect mixtape playing as you have an amazing time with friends, family and friendly Wakefieldians.
