This panel offered advice and guidance on how to take the first steps to reach a wider audience for your music.

They covered topics such as:

  • the best way to approach releasing music, in order to get the most traction from streaming services

  • how to use social media and other online platforms to engage and grow your audience

  • how to approach key tastemakers in the media and radio

  • forming a medium to long term plan

  • what funding and other development opportunities are available for emerging artists in the region.
