Eleanor Beever
Eleanor graduated from the University of Hull with a music degree in 2020. She is a cellist and enjoys performing, session work, arranging and composition (having recently completed session work for Skinny Pelembe, Rumbi Tauro and Imogen Hart).
After finishing university, she worked at Higher Rhythm, supporting their BTEC music technology course followed by creative roles at Long Division Festival, Children's Capital of Culture and Flux Rotherham.
She now works within the cultural sector in South Yorkshire supporting and programming events, including arts festivals, workshops and performances.
Eleanor finds it really rewarding being involved in community engagement, especially coming from Rotherham where “creative participation is below the UK average and there are many access barriers to art.”
