An arranger of words and teller of stories, Just The Type is the prose-personality of Manchester-based music-lover and writer, Lisa. After fulfilling mail orders at Piccadilly Records, and a decade writing reviews and features as Staff Writer for national music magazine The Fly, among other titles (receiving good and bad press releases!) Lisa honed her craft as a national music publicist at Manchester-based music PR company, In House Press.
Her words have been used in campaigns for Toro Y Moi, Trudy & The Romance, Charles Bradley, John Maus, Viola Beach, Willy Mason, The Orielles, Thyla, Calva Louise, Working Men’s Club, and more, plus emerging local and international musicians and their teams.
When not writing, Lisa can be found frequenting the country’s independent music venues in search of her next favourite artists.
