She has signed and worked across artists like Lion Babe, Years & Years, Liv Dawson and Chaya.
Alongside her management and A&R duties Jamila has run tastemaker blog Cruel Rhythm since 2011 and has worked with partners including Sonos and Hype Machine on events featuring artists such as SZA, Kelis, Dua Lipa and Stormzy at SXSW, Great Escape and more.
