As a trained singer and community arts practitioner, I believe in the empowerment of learning and self-expression through safe educational spaces in music.
From finishing university with a jazz degree and starting my career in creative facilitation, I have been exploring what music education means and the effects it has on those studying. I have aimed to create learning environments that give everyone an equal opportunity bloom. Through song writing courses for young women and non-binary people, wellbeing music workshops and teaching, I am beginning to understand the role education plays in a musician’s life.
