Fig by Four is multi-instrumentalist Sarah Statham (she/her), who weaves ethereal thoughts on connection, memory and loss into a refreshing melting pot of off-kilter alternative/indie musical storytelling. Supported by a live full-band line up, her debut collection of songs, due out as a full album in autumn 2023, hinges on pensive lyrics, dynamic rhythms, characterful guitars and ear-catching basslines.

Fig’s varied collection of songs swings between the viscerally immediate and the sweepingly cinematic. Drip-feeding melodic hooks and choruses that begin to feel like mantras for everyday connection with self and the world around us.
