Teah Lewis

Teah is a cut above the rest in the singer-songwriter space today’ (Michael Sanford, Pink Wafer)

Teah spent 2021 releasing new music, her July 2021 single ‘Magnolia’ was selected in Christian Carlisle's top 50 songs of the year for BBC Intro Sheffield. 2022 has seen performances at Tramlines Festival, Long Division and on Friday 12th August she will support Richard Hawley at his sold out Leadmill show.

Written for a generation seeking stability in flatpack furniture and soft furnishings, Teah Lewis's new single ‘Building a Home’, explores building a life one small moment at a time. Whilst life moves past like a time-lapse this song depicts how slowly we form the picture piece by piece. With a full sound of synth, keys, bass, brass and multi layered vocals this takes a step into the pop production the summer demands, whilst keeping firmly rooted in the anecdotal lyrics and subtle melodies of folk. (For fans of Gabrielle Aplin, Becky Hill and The Deep Blue).
