Life Aquatic Band’s (L.A.B.) music brings sunshine to drab days - a mix of 70s Pop and 2000s ElectroClash - we sit between Graceland-era Paul Simon, Hot Chip and LCD Soundsystem.

In 2023, L.A.B. self-produced and released an album full of positivity: FREE SUMMER, touring our high energy live show across the UK (dance routines included) playing at festivals including at Glastonbury Festival, Shambala, Wild Fire, Y Not, Manchester's Green Island, Hull's New Adelphi, and won a public vote held by BBC Introducing to play Sheffield’s Tramlines.

We received an artist residency at the Summer Studios in Gateshead’s Glasshouse this summer to begin work on our dance-punk inspired new album.
