‘DREUW’ - folk singer songwriter known as Andrew James Burke - is releasing his long awaited debut E.P ‘Lose This’, in May 2022. The record, born amid the pandemic, is unashamedly heartfelt. It documents Dreuw’s journey of self discovery and re-connection with nature throughout a time of global fear and anxiety.
“The last year and a half, mediation and spirituality has become a big part of my life, to learn and be aware of my own heart and ego. “The lyrics and melodies organically rose from this awakening, transcribing those thoughts, feelings and realisations that I was now ready to let go of. It’s a very healing and therapeutic experience, and in this sense for my music to be the output, leading to the songs’ messages that reflect my stories of love, loss and health.”
