Bernice Waweru

Bernice Waweru is a first-year Music Industries Management student at Leeds Beckett University. Born and raised in Nairobi she was involved in the Creative Arts from a young age, focusing on Music in the last 3 years.

Since arriving in Leeds she’s volunteered for Live at Leeds, Music Local, Independent Venue Week and put on ‘Cue the Track’ with 3 other individuals showcasing upcoming indie bands in Leeds. Aside from live events, she’s on the committee for Beckett On Air, Leeds Beckett’s student radio where she’ll be running two shows.
