Greg Surmacz

Greg Surmacz is a musician, producer and composer based in Leeds. After a career of bands and collaboration, he released his first solo work across 2021-22 in the form of 'Timelines', an album trilogy. Combining jazz sensibilities with cutting-edge electronic music and intricate woodwind arrangements, the music has been supported by the likes of Gilles Peterson, Tom Ravenscroft (6 Music), Jamie Cullum (Radio 2), Jamz Supernova, Moses Boyd and many more. A fourth record, 'What We Can Assume', was released in 2023 to further critical acclaim. In the live arena, Greg has shared stages with James Holden, corto.alto, Colin Stetson and recently performed at Gilles Peterson's We Out Here festival.
