Philip Morris (he/him) is the Musicians’ Union Regional Officer for the North of England.
He is part of a team that enthusiastically make sure that music is adequately represented in the devolved powers of the Northern cities. He is the first point of contact for enquiries from the MU’s Northern membership that spans from Hadrian's Wall to Humberside and everything in between.
Joining the Musicians Union in April 2022, Philip previously worked as a Synchronisation Manager for an award-winning publishing company and has licensed music to a litany of media productions across TV, Adverts, Films and Games. Philip also has a wealth of experience in royalty administration, neighbouring rights and A&R practises.
A graduate in Music from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Philip has also worked as a Press Officer for a boutique music PR company as well as a media liaison for a festival of music, art and politics.
