Lily Sturt-Bolshaw

Lily is a producer/songwriter, mix and mastering engineer, Project Manager and one half of Alt/indie band, Sunflower Thieves.

She graduated from Leeds Conservatoire in 2018 with a BAhons in Music Production and went on to work at Stylus as a Front of House/Monitor Engineer/Stage Manager. Alongside being employed by Leeds Uni Union, she also worked as a freelance sound engineer in venues around Leeds such as Oporto, Hyde Park Book Club and Headrow House and has toured with Clean Cut Kid.

She has since moved away from working in live sound, but she hasn't strayed too far for her work with Come Play With Me. Lily runs CPWM's Come Platform Me: Introduction To Sound programme for people from marginalised backgrounds who want to become live and studio engineers. With help from Eiger Studios and HPBC, the first round of this programme has been an incredible success and is to be repeated later this year!

Lily's band Sunflower Thieves are an independent, self managed and self produced project formed of Lily and childhood friend Amy. They have been writing, producing, performing and releasing together since 2016 and have been played on Radio 1 + 6, BBC Introducing, Radio Scotland and more. They have toured and gigged with the likes of Flyte, Lewis Watson, Memorial, Get Cape.Wear Cape.Fly and Siv Jakobsen and will be releasing their second EP this year!
