Serena Johnson

Serena Johnson is a co-founder and director at Conscious Youth C.I.C, an award-winning youth-led social enterprise based in Kirklees. With over 12 years of experience in community development and a background in TV production on reality and music programming, Serena brings a wealth of expertise to her work. In 2024, she achieved a significant milestone by combining her passion for music with youth empowerment through the creation of HD Sounds. This initiative provides marginalised and disadvantaged young people the chance to explore their musical talents through creative projects, artist development, training, and education. Witnessing the vision of HD Sounds come to life and its transformative impact has been one of Serena’s most rewarding experiences.
