Opportunities

Call-Out: Young Musicians of the Colne Valley, The Watershed, Colne Valley - The Watershed are offering six free music creation workshops at The Watershed. These sessions are designed for young musicians who want to experiment with sound, develop new skills and create original, dance music inspired tracks. Trailblazer Fund, Youth Music, UK - applications are now open for the Youth Music Trailblazer Fund. Successful organisations will receive grants of £2000 - £30,000 to run projects for children and young people (25 or under) to make, learn and earn in music. Grant Funding, Metal For Good, UK - applications are currently open for Grant Funding from Metal For Good. This fund is dedicated to funding incredibly community groups and projects that use music and the values of the rock and metal community to help create an equal society. Culture Grants Small, Creative Wakefield, Wakefield - applications are now open for the Creative Wakefield Culture Grants Small. There are small grants on offer of up to £2000 for community groups, charities, CICs, and other VCSE organisations for small scale creative projects. PPL Momentum Music Fund - this fund offers grants of £5k - £15k for UK based artists / bands to break through to the next level of their careers. Activities eligible for support include recording, touring and marketing. There are four rounds of this throughout the year. Round One is open now and closes on 2nd February. Round Two opens on 13th April and closes on 11th May. Round Three opens on 13th July and closes on 10th August. Round Four opens on 28th September and closes on 26th October [MORE DETAILS]

Hitmaker Fund - this fund offers grants of £5k - £10k to songwriters and producers working in popular music genres to further develop their careers. There are two rounds of this throughout the year. The Open Fund for Music Creators - this fund offers grants of up to £5,000 to music creators of all genres and backgrounds at different stages of their career. There are two rounds of this. The Composers’ Fund - this fund offers grants of up to £8,000 - £15,000 to composers with a strong track record, giving direct access to funding at a pivotal stage in their career. Rolling deadlines

Fast Track, Help Musicians - musicians are able to apply for a short-term fund of £500 throughout the year to support opportunities. Artists may spend the money on things such as a short course, investing in new software, or taking opportunities to record, release or perform that will help you to fulfil your ambition [MORE DETAILS]

The Sarah Nulty Power of Music Foundation, Sheffield - The Power of Music Foundation supports people of any in age in Sheffield who are socially or economically disadvantaged. They work with individuals and organisations supporting people with disabilities and complex needs, with children and schools and with anyone experiencing hardship. Arts Council Supporting Grassroots Live Music Fund - the Supporting Grassroots Live Music Fund has been extended with an extra £1.5 million available to support Grassroots music venues across England [MORE DETAILS]
